Parenthood

 Being a parent

Who said it would be an easy journey? Isn't it true that being old doesn't necessarily mean being mature? What if I'm faced with that responsibility? Will I be ready for it?

Those four questions went round in my head as soon as this topic came up. I always thought being a parent was no easy task. It's a responsibility that comes with the world and the hereafter. We are the determinants of the next generation.

Seeing the magnitude of this responsibility. No wonder the slogan "child free" is now everywhere. Of course, I don't want to guess or corner someone's life choice, but of course this is the problem of the current era that we face.

Physical maturity is not enough, mental maturity is not enough. There are many other factors that need to be prepared. But can I make it through?

Ah, I'm back to thinking somewhere.

I believe in one thing, preparation has real impact.  We should not underestimate the presence of preparation for the long process. Now I am also preparing, as an educator I am also learning how to educate my child in the future. It's not an easy journey, but I really enjoy it.

Am I ready to be a parent?
